Monster Hunter: World released on PC last Thursday, and according to the latest from Steam Spy, the game has sold an estimate of over 2 million units in its first two days on Steam.
Capcom announced back in May that Monster Hunter: World surpassed the 8 million milestone as of April 16, 2018, so if these estimates are correct then it shouldn’t be long until we get some kind of announcement for its 10 million milestone. Keep in mind that these numbers are for Steam alone, and Tencent’s WeGame platform also had a million pre-orders, so the next milestone might actually being much higher than expected.
According to Steam Charts, the game has reached a peak of 329,333 concurrent players to put it as the 4th highest game right behind PUBG, Dota 2, and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
Monster Hunter: World is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
