Taiwan-based developer Rayark is bringing its 2013 smartphone rhythm game Deemo to PS4 as Deemo Reborn (tentative) that we saw last October. This week’s issue of Famitsu magazine has some new info to share. [Thanks, Hachima.]
We got a glimpse of it in the teaser trailer, but Rayark says the smartphone rhythm game will go to PS4 with a major rebirth. Its visuals are going from 2D to 3D, it’ll support PSVR as well as PS Move for a completely new experience.
Players will get to take control of the main heroine to explore the mysterious castle that will be shown in 3D.
Deemo Reborn features the over-200 tracks from the original smartphone version plus brand-new songs. The genre is listed as an action game, but it’ll have plenty of rhythm game elements.
Deemo Reborn releases on PS4 in 2019. Expect a big collaboration to be announced for it at Tokyo Game Show 2018 this September.
