Splatoon 2 Celebrates Its First Anniversary With A Squid Vs. Octopus Global Splatfest On July 20

Splatoon 2 is celebrating its first anniversary on July 20 with its next global Splatfest with the theme of Squid vs. Octopus. Players will get to pick their preferred cephalod in-game starting July 6.

Furthermore, to make the event a little more special, during the Splatfest battles players on Team Squid will play as Inklings while players on Team Octopus will get to play as Octolings, even without the Octo Expansion.
