BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle’s Unannounced DLC Characters Appear To Have Leaked

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle had an open beta this weekend, and it appears that unannounced DLC characters for the game have been leaked from dataminers through the Nintendo Switch version of the beta. [Thanks, @OtherEhm.]

According to Twitter user Ehm who data-mined the Switch version of the open beta, all characters have a menu portrait, and the blank ones you see above are for characters that Arc System Works has yet to announce.

 

He provided a full character list from the text file in the game that confirms that the given IDs are correct:

There hasn’t been any official word from Arc System Works so we’ll take it with a grain of salt, but these things tend to be pretty accurate for the most part, as we’ve recently seen with Dragon Ball FighterZ.
