New inside information on New Gundam Breaker was shown today, revealing more about the Inner Frame system that’s new to this game. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
The ‘Inner Frame’ is essentially the ‘bones’ of the Gunpla, and there are five types of Frames that can be chosen, each with their own characteristics:
- Balanced (Green): An average frame that boasts equal values to all its stats, and is very versatile.
- Striker (Red): This frame excels in destroying Gunpla parts and also has a lot of HP, focusing on fighting on the frontlines.
- Gunner (Blue): As may be inferred from the name, this frame focuses on high firepower shooting attacks, ideal for long ranged combat.
- Enchant (Yellow): This frame focuses on EX Skill usage, and has somewhat high health as well.
- Search (Pink): A speed-focused frame good for precise movements.
The Inner Frames also have their own EX Skills:
- Supreme Resurrect (Balanced): Recovers all HP and parts HP for both the user and allies.
- Skill Blockade (Balanced): Enemy EX Skills are sealed for a while.
- Dead End Impact (Striker): A sword attack that easily knocks away body parts of enemies hit.
- Protect Burst (Striker): Protects the user from being destroyed for a certain amount of time.
- Hyper Big Gun (Gunner): A beam attack that has a high chance of knocking away body parts.
- Hyper Mega Sonic Gun (Gunner): A high powered attack that stops enemies from being able to attack for a period of time if hit.
- Definite Jamming (Enchant): Blocks enemies from recovering body parts with electromagnetic waves.
- Electric Waves (Enchant): Enemies cannot move for a certain period of time.
- Range Search (Search): Shows enemies and containers on the radar map.
- Short Run Storage (Search): Reduces the time needed to recover body parts.
Awakenings
Awakenings are a special action that can be used several times through each battle, which not only increase stats but also revert your Gundam back to its original form. This is useful as New Gundam Breaker is about stealing enemy parts, while enemies can also take your parts.
Finally, several Gundams from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans were shown off:
