An image showing a cover of what looks like a PS4 sequel to Compile Heart’s dungeon RPG, Mary Skelter: Nightmares, has appeared online. [Thanks, @Renka_schedule.]
The image of the cover shows what appears to be two new main characters, one named “Kola” with black hair and the other with light-blue hair is the Little Mermaid. Joining the two is a young man who is turned into a Nightmare, the creatures we met as unique bosses in the original game.
Since this hasn’t been officially announced, we’ll be taking it with a grain of salt for the time being, but according to the image it should be releasing in Japan on June 28, 2018. The image also shows that a remake version of the original Mary Skelter: Nightmares will be included on PS4 along with a special love adventure game bonus called “Rengokutou Mary Skelter” or “Love Prison Tower Mary Skelter” from pre-orders. This remake has completely revamped the balance and map size from the original Mary Skelter with enough volume that is said to provide over 80 hours of gameplay.
In any case, we should be getting some news from Famitsu and Dengeki in the coming hours, so we might hear about it earlier than expected.
