Chrono Trigger Makes Its PC Debut

A new Chrono Trigger port has been released. People can now find the game on PCs. It is available through Steam for $14.99. Until April 2, 2018, it is being sold as a limited edition with a Chrono Trigger medley that includes the songs “Battle with Magus,” “Chrono Trigger,” “Corridors of Time,” “Far Off Promise,” and “Wind Scene,” digital liner notes from composer Yasunori Mitsuda, and six wallpapers.

 

The PC version of Chrono Trigger has a number of features unique to it. Mitsuda oversaw the rerecording of the soundtrack for this port. Visuals have been optimized and PC controls have been created to allow people to use a keyboard and mouse or controller. It has a new autosave function. Also, the bonuses dungeons from the Nintendo DS and mobile versions, Dimensional Vortex and Lost Sanctum, are both present.

 

 

In addition, the Android and Apple iOS versions of Chrono Trigger will be getting updates. The game is now available on the Amazon AppStore. The Apple iOS version has cloud saves, retina features and Apple TV support now. Also, the Android and Apple iOS versions may get an update that brings them up to par with the PC version.

 

Chrono Trigger is also available on the Super NES, PlayStation, Nintendo DS and both Android and Apple iOS devices.
