Attack on Titan 2 Adds Stylish New Moves To Take Down Titans

Koei Tecmo released a new gameplay video for the upcoming action game Attack on Titan 2, featuring Mikasa and Armin’s voice actresses and some of the latest info from producer Hisashi Koinuma.

The new video is the first of a series featuring Mikasa Ackerman’s voice actress Yui Ishikawa and Armin Arlert’s voice actress Marina Inoue. In this one, the two will take on some Titans to show off new moves.

At around the 4:40 mark of the gameplay footage, we get to see a new action called the “Hook Drive.” When in mid-air you can press the X button to timely evade a Titan attack and follow up with a powerful counterattack with the triangle button to deal massive damage.

At the 6:00 mark, we get to see one called “Surprise Attack” where you use a scope with R2 to zoom onto a Titan and dash in using the 3D Maneuver Gear for a dash-slash that can possibly take out the target in one blow.

Attack on Titan 2 releases in Japan on March 15, 2018 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game releases in North America and Europe on March 20 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
