Game developer Grounding announced recently that Space Channel 5 VR: Arakata Dancing Show will be demoing at Niconico Tokaigi 2018, and that the game will later see a release in 2018. [Thanks, 4gamer!]
The game is related to Space Channel 5 VR: Ukiuki Viewing Show, but while that game had players throwing confetti and helping Ulala improve the viewership ratings, in this game players need to dance to the same poses as Ulala in order to defeat Morolians.
The demo event will be on February 10, 2018, from 10am to 6pm JST, and February 11, 2018, from 10am to 5pm JST. The event will be at Makuhari Messe, where Tokaigi is held.
After the demo, the game will come to VR stores within Japan in Spring 2018, before finally releasing fully as a digital title in 2018.
While there are no announced platforms, Space Channel 5 VR: Arakata Dancing Show is developed for HTC Vive, so it is likely coming to PC.
