In addition to the new trailer that gave us a look the very first gameplay, Bandai Namco recently provided new screenshots and details on what’s new in New Gundam Breaker.

Bandai Namco breaks down the new points of New Gundam Breaker in three parts:

005

006

The first is the “Real-Time Customize Battles” where you can steal Gunpla parts and customize your own on the go. You can switch out parts instantly to make yourself stronger during battle. You’ll also get to go through parts and take your time working on your Gunpla after battles as well.

003

004

The second point is the “Team Cooperative Battles” with 3v3 co-op battles. These battles will have you team up with up to two others to clear objectives. The team with the most points within the time limit wins. You can also play single-player.

There are maps that you’ll only see for Gunpla battles like the Workshop and more:

008

New map “Workshop”

010

New map “Snowy Mountains Base”

And lastly, the third point is a story that takes place at the “Private Gundam Breaker Academy.” The academy is from a major project of the university town, which aims to develop talent in Gunpla creation and Gunpla battles. A new Gundam Breaker story will be told here.
