Marvelous shared three points of improvements with the first being an upgrade of “high-speed Servant action.” In Fate/Extella Link you’ll mix and match weak and strong attacks to come up with a variety of combos.

In addition to more fluid combat, you’ll get to do other actions such as launching opponents into the air for an aerial attack, dashes, guards, and more.

The second point of improvement are the battle situations that are constantly changing while out in the battlefield. There are more objectives now that involve helping important character escape from a flock of enemies, defeat a certain target, and other kinds of missions.

Lastly, the third point is the new online versus mode that is being added to the game. This feature will only be available on the PlayStation 4 version of the game. More details on rules and how it’s played will be revealed on a later date.
