Arc System Works has been busy with several new titles including Dragon Ball FighterZ and BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle, but they took their time to put together a special New Year’s video for the fans.
The video features Chief Executive Officer Minoru Kidooka, COO Daisuke Ishiwatari (who opened with a sweet guitar riff), and Director of Development Toshimichi Mori who shared a thank you message for the fans who supported the company and their titles in 2017.
They mention in the video that 2018 is the 10th anniversary for the BlazBlue series, 20th anniversary for the Guilty Gear series, and 30th anniversary for Arc System Works, which as mentioned by Kidooka started with five to ten people and now has over 170 staff members.
While the company celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, they’ll host a special Arc System Works 30th Year Anniversary Festival in May 2019. More details on that will be revealed later.
