Sega is remastering the PS3 RPG Shining Resonance as Shining Resonance Re:frain on PlayStation 4. Here’s a first look with new screenshots and the game’s opening movie.
The opening movie has a new theme song called “Towairo no Aria” that is sung by Kirika’s voice actress Saori Hayami and Sonia’s in Asami Set. The song is performed by the musical group Elements Garden that did the original game’s opening theme.
The original Shining Resonance released back in December 2014 for PlayStation 3. The fantasy RPG is about a young man named Yuma who has two forms of human and dragon, in a story about a battle for the lost power of the dragon.
The new remaster will depict the game in full HD and run at 60fps. It comes with the over 150 DLC pieces from original game including costumes, dungeons, and extra events.
A new “Refrain Mode” where Excela Noa Aura and Jenius Aeon joins your party early on in the game.
You can read more about the game and various other improvements it’ll see in our earlier report.
