We got a peek at some new Rare Blades in yesterday’s Direct presentation, and the game’s official Twitter account has followed up with a closer look at Jikareo, Tenni, Gurren, and Yaegiri.

Jikareo (CV: Shunsuke Takeuchi, Artist: Ryosuke Aiba of CyDesignation)

A powerful Blade with a demon-like appearance. Based on his looks alone we’re guessing he’s quite powerful. If you’re seeing similarities from Final Fantasy XI’s Shadow Lord, he was designed by the MMO’s character artist Ryosuke Aiba.

Tenni (CV: Aya Endo, Artist: Hideo Minaba of CyDesignation)

Tenni is a girl in a dragon-like mecha. She’s illustrated by Hideo Minaba, who previously worked as the art director for Final Fantasy VI, IX, XII, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, and Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE.

Gurren (CV: Toru Furuya, Artist: Minoru Iwamoto of Bandai Namco)

The hot-blooded Blade of Justice was designed by Minoru Iwamoto, who worked as a character designer for Tales of Vesperia, Zestiria, and Berseria.

Yaegiri (CV: Ayana Taketatsu, Artist: Minoru Iwamoto of Bandai Namco)

Yaegiri is an energetic Rare Blade in training who is looking for a challenge from a strong opponent.
