Bandai Namco shared the latest on the upcoming PS4 action fighter Kamen Rider: Climax Fighters with a look at several Riders in Kamen Rider Ryuki, Hibiki, Den-O, W, Ghost, and details on its online versus modes.
Kamen Rider Ryuki
Kamen Rider Ryuki is characterized by his ability to summon the Mirror Monster Dragreder. When summoned, Dragreder can dash into enemies and also circle around Ryuki to protect him from enemies.
Kamen Rider Hibiki
Kamen Rider Hibiki has the ability to form change into Kurenai form. This form provides an increase in attack power, changes his special attacks, and shortens the activation time. When using sound attacks you can mash the attack button for added sound and effects for more damage.
Kamen Rider Den-O
Kamen Rider Den-O is characterized by his skills “Train Slash” and “Special Attack Combo of the Imagin.” He has a special attack that brings out combination attacks from Momotaros, Urataros, Kintaros, and Ryutaros, but it can be cancelled to have it be an attack from Den-O alone.
Kamen Rider W
Kamen Rider W is characterized by his “two-in-one” skill “Baton Touch.” The Shotaro Hidari CycloneJoker form is the base but can switch between Philip’s FangJoker form. Switching forms provides a small healing effect.
Kamen Rider Ghost
Kamen Rider Ghost’s skill allows him to go Grasteful Damashii to pull off the powerful “Omega Drive Grateful” attack. He’s also able to “float” while being temporarily invulnerable, so it makes it a good way to escape when in a pinch.
Kamen Rider: Climax Fighters comes with two types of online versus modes. The first is “Ranked Match” where you can fight in 2v2 or 1v1. This is the standard ranked match where you acquire points for wins and climb the leader boards. You can also go into Free Match while looking for a Ranked Match to start.
“Player Match” is the other mode where you can hang out with other players. These custom rooms let you fight any way you want and control avatar characters used to chat and display emoticons.
Kamen Rider: Climax Fighters releases in Japan on December 7, 2017 for PlayStation 4. The game will also release for Asia with Japanese dubs and English subs on the same date.
