Almost two years after Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain’s release, a new playable character has been added as an option to the game. People will be able to play as Ocelot during a Forward Operating Base mission. He is part of the August 2017 content update.

While Ocelot does not have any additional customization options, meaning you will be stuck with his one uniform and one head option, he does play a little bit differently. Ocelot can dual-wield Tornado-6 Revolvers, his preferred weapon. He can make bullets ricochet off of marked enemies. As for more minor details, he can draw and reload his guns faster and has a higher camouflage value.

In addition to Ocelot, some other content and updates are coming to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Wormhole Generators will get more grades. One of them, the Grade 9, will automatically extract your character in critical situations. It is sturdier, so it will take longer for enemies to destroy it.

More swimsuits are being added for FOB staff. These are developed with Event Point Rewards and are equipped by security team soldiers by heading to Advanced Settings in Security Settings. The Goblin Suit GOB SUIT and Megalodon Suit MEG SUIT are only for male and female Diamond Dog soldiers. Wearing them increases movement speed, but they don’t have any camouflage effect.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was released on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC on September 1, 2015.
