This week’s issue of Jump magazine has revealed that One Piece has not one but two new titles in the works. One is One Piece: Grand Cruise for PS VR and the other is an “unprecedented new One Piece game.” [Thanks, Ryokutya2089 (1), (2).]

First, One Piece: Grand Cruise for PlayStation VR was revealed without any information on its release, pricing, or genre, but Jump’s screenshots show how you’ll get to explore inside a ship, perhaps even be able to interact with the Mugiwara Pirates.

We’ll find out more about One Piece: Grand Cruise during a July 22 event at the Tokyo Tower, where a special demo that lets eight players play together at once will be available.

The next part is about the “unprecedented new One Piece game” that is code-named “Dawn.” Its development is being worked on by Bandai Namco, Shueisha, and Toei Animation. There’s quite a bit of emphasis about the game being “unprecedented” and having a completely new feel from other One Piece games.

One Piece writer Eiichiro Oda is also cooperating on the game, and they’re taking their time on its plans and designs. No further information was shared but it is mentioned that the game is turning into something incredible, with all kinds of support with world setting and music from the anime.
