Sega has announced a new Apple iOS and Android app that will allow anyone who downloads it free access to games from its back catalog. Sega Forever will be available worldwide on June 22, 2017, with the first update including some classic Genesis (Mega Drive) games.

When Sega Forever appears tomorrow, people will be able to play Altered Beast, Comix Zone, Kid Chameleon, Phantasy Star II, and Sonic the Hedgehog. (Tip for Phantasy Star II – go back and visit your hometown after reaching a new city, as you’ll be able to recruit a new party member if you do!) These games will have cloud saves, controller support, and leaderboards and be among the many official emulations and ports Sega has planned for mobile devices.

Sega Forever is free, but it is an ad-supported platform. If you want to play games without ads, you can pay a $1.99 fee to remove them.

Sega Forever will come to Apple iOS and Android devices on June 22, 2017.
