We previously learned more about Dragon Quest XI’s two main heroines Veronica and Senya, and Square Enix updated the game’s official website with fresh new screenshots of the two plus more on the Village of Homura.
Veronica
The prodigy girl who excels at using powerful offensive magic. She’s a fearless tomboy and is never scared when she’s fighting, whether it’s against adults or monsters. Contrary to her appearance, she’s mature and hates being treated like a child.
When it comes to battle, Veronica is capable of pulling off a variety of powerful spells. She can equip a two-handed staff or whip as her weapon of choice. She’s able to use a two-handed staff to increase the power of her spells or the whip to perform powerful attacks against groups of enemies.

Senya
Senya is a healer who supports the party with recovery skills. She’s a kind-hearted and gentle character, but is a little unreliable at times. Her buddy Veronica occasionally throws a fit for this reason.
Senya is an expert at recovery magic, and she takes the role of the party’s healer. She uses sticks and spears as her weapon of choice. While using a stick she further enhances her ability to defend her party, while using a spear helps her contribute with more damage, making her more of a versatile character.
