Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino recently talked to Nikkei Trendy, with whom he shared his thoughts on the Nintendo Switch and revealed that they’re currently working on a game for the console.

Here’s what Hino-san had to say when asked about the Nintendo Switch:

Akihiro Hino: “I think the Switch is great. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is just so fun. It’s scary good [laughs]. To be honest, after playing the Switch for myself, my impressions on it has changed dramatically from when it was in its development stages. I wasn’t too sure about being able to play it outside and inside your home, but I can now see its great potential.”

“In any case, Zelda is loads of fun, and I’m always playing it while walking around or while on a plane. The model I got from Nintendo is the one with the red and blue controllers, and I was getting self-conscious about the looks I was getting when I carried it around, so I recently purchased the black controllers they released. [laughs].”

“I also think the Switch’s style is a great fit for competitive games. You can get together and play in person or play online. For example, I think the idea of being able to gather all the game-lovers in a company and have a Mario Kart session is really interesting. I can’t say anything about it for now, but we’re currently working on software that supports Switch.”
