After noticing Dingo’s official website being inaccessible for the past few days, a 2chan user went to check their office located in Shibuya, Tokyo, and were met with the above notice letter. It states that Dingo has suspended its business and plan to file for bankruptcy at the Tokyo District Court sometime in the coming days.

To top it off, someone who claims to be a former employee at Dingo appeared in the 2chan thread, where he said that Dingo’s debt is currently over 300 million yen (roughly $2.7 million USD) and some of its employees still remain unpaid. In addition to confirming the photograph of the notice letter, he also stated that the failure of Reco Love was  the death-blow for the company.

While nothing is official as of yet, we often see a similar pattern when companies close down like this, not to mention that their official Twitter account hasn’t been active since February 4.

In addition to Persona 4: Dancing All Night, Photo Kano, and Reco Love, Dingo worked on titles such as Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Hatune Miku: Project Diva series on PSP, the Love Live! School Idol Paradise series, and more.
