Gust shared a new trailer for Blue Reflection with a character highlight for Hinako Shirai, the girl who was once a ballet dancer and was forced to quit after hurting herself, but things change when she becomes a magic girl.
Here are some details on Hinako from our previous report:
A ballet dancer who previously had big expectations.
Height: 158cm
Weight: 44kg
Likes: Classical Music
The protagonist of Blue Reflection. A year prior, she was supposed to compete in a ballet competition that took place overseas, which would’ve been her gateway to success. After injuring her foot she was forced to give it up. Due to this, she hasn’t been able to dance ballet, and has closed off her heart; however, her body and heart never forgot about the days, weeks, and years of lessons, and she continues believing that her foot will heal one day.
Based on what we know so far, it seemed like Hinako would be more glum considering her past, but the video shows quite a bit of emotion from the girl, with her saying things like “I’ll make you regret this,” to herself laughing saying “you look like a child with cream on your cheeks” while eating sweets with a friend.
“Is it okay to just punch her with my fist?”
She doesn’t seem completely broken from the fact that she can no longer perform ballet, but she certainly shows moments of weakness and struggles from the thought. Nonetheless, she’s determined to somehow find a way to recover, and she also appears to be a good friend who’d do anything to help out those whom she cares about.
Blue Reflection: Sword of the Girl Dancing in Illusion releases in Japan on March 30, 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. You can check out more about its gameplay and everyday life in our earlier report.
