Bandai Namco showcased the first gameplay footage for Accel World vs. Sword Art Online during a live stream today, where we got to see Kirito, Black Lotus and more slice and dice in the action RPG.
The above is a look at a TV clip that gives us a peek at the game’s action.
The following is another look that was shared during the live stream, featuring Kirito, Black Lotus, and several other playable characters from Accel World and Sword Art Online.

In addition to the characters revealed so far, the game will feature over 30 playable characters, including some that “would be difficult to have in the main story” as as pre-order DLC. Costumes from the upcoming Sword Art Online film will also be a pre-order bonus.
The main story is said to last about 30 hours. As far as gameplay goes, think of it as a “new and evolved” action from Sword Art Online: Lost Song. Character models were also remade to look better.
Accel World vs. Sword Art Online releases in Japan on March 16, 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
