Arc System Works announced a new Kunio-kun game that will release digitally for PS4 in Japan this winter, called Downtown Rantou Koushinkyoku: Kachinuki Kakutou SP.
The game takes from the Battle Royale mode from River City Super Sports Challenge ~All Stars Special~, and made easier to play with enhancements in its battle. In order to further strengthen its battle parts, Ryohei Endo, who has worked on several BlazBlue titles, will be involved with the development.
The game will see major balance adjustments, and a big upgrade in the competitive department. With more in-depth fighting characteristics, it’s an action game that offers enjoyable melee fighting.
In addition to new special attacks, other basic throw attacks are being added. You’ll get to do things such as tossing opponents to the ceiling and following up with cooperative moves, giant swings that hit all surrounding enemies, and other new offensive and defensive moves.
The battle stages have new stage features that will surprise you, such as floors that fall apart out of nowhere as shown in the above image.
