With the first part of the free update series, the game adds the new “Space-Time Radar” feature, which is done by connecting via WiFi in various StreetPass hotspots across Japan in order to bring out a Space-Time Radar exclusive stage. In this stage, you’ll get to fight against characters for a chance to acquire rare teammates.

Depending on the hotspots, you’ll get different things. Characters vary depending on the hotspots, and there are even some that increases the chances of getting characters you’ve yet to befriend.

Dragon Ball Fusions is available in Japan for Nintendo 3DS. The game releases in North America on December 13, 2016 and in Europe in February 2017.
