Undead Darlings continues its search for funding. A Patreon has opened for the PlayStation 4 and PC game, with people able to directly contribute money to help Mr. Tired Media make the game. People can pay monthly sums to help support its development.
There are four pledge tiers to the Undead Darlings Patreon. A $1 monthly contribution offers access to blog entries. $15 secures the person a PC copy of the game and beta/demo access, and $20 ensures someone a PlayStation 4 copy of the game and beta/demo access. Up to 10 patrons a month can provide $50 to get a copy of the game for either platform and an opportunity to participate in monthly Google Hangout sessions to read sub-events and critique the game. The Patreon has reached its Developer Diary weekly post and Twitch.tv steam and Triggered Fingers monthly blog series funding goals.
This is Mr. Tired Media’s third attempt to acquire funding for Undead Darlings from potential players. Its first Kickstarter, launched back in 2015, failed after only reaching $19,412 of its desired $50,000 pledges. The second Kickstarter, launched with support from Mangagamer, fell short in 2016 after only reaching $26,200 of the $45,000 pledges.
Undead Darlings is currently in development for the PlayStation 4 and PC. It is a visual novel and RPG, where players go through dungeons with six zombie girls and fight against other zombies in turn-based battles.
