Acquire shared a new trailer for their upcoming action RPG Akiba’s Beat. In the video, we get an introduction to Mizuki Aihara, a 20-year-old university student and Asahi’s childhood friend.

The video starts out with Mizuki telling Asahi that he’s late and he was tired of waiting, but he’ll hear out what kind of excuse he has prepared for him this time. He then tells his childhood friend that he was always mysterious and had a way at being easy to approach ever since they were kids. Contrary to Asahi who is a free spirit, Mizuki has always been more serious and level-headed.

When introduced to Asahi’s friends, he thinks of them as interesting, but they don’t all seem to feel the same way about him. It seems like there will be some big drama going on with Mizuki in the middle of it, as he says in the video “it’s unfair, we killed one person and saved a hundred people, and you destroyed the delusion… then a single life was changed. That’s fine, let’s make this the end of it. Take good care of Asahi. Well, good bye.”

Akiba’s Beat will release in Japan on October 13, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. You can check out more character introductions with the protagonist Asahi Tachibana, the always-smiling happy idol Riyu Momose, the “chuuni” cool kid Yamato Hongo, the innocent day dreamer Saki Hoshino, the arrogant but lonely Kotomi Sanada, and the cool and mature Reiji Shinomiya.
