Bandai Namco announced today that they’re releasing a new demo for Tales of Berseria for PlayStation 4 via the Japanese PlayStation Store starting August 4, 2016. Famitsu shares further details.
The new demo on PS4 comes with two modes. “Scenario Mode” will feature a bit of story and will let you participate in some battles, field exploration, and take a peek at the chat system.
The “Battle Mode” doesn’t have any story going on, but it’ll focus more on battles with enemies so you can get a better sample of the Liberation LMBS.
Bandai Namco also announced that they’re having a new in-store demo that will be exclusive to several shops across Japan. Its contents will be different from the downloadable demo with different story elements for Story Mode and a different area for Battle Mode. Those who check out the demo at shops will also get a set of eight posters and more.
Here’s the schedule of shops that will have the new in-store demo:
- July 30 (11:00am~5:00pm) – Animate Ikebukuro Head Office
- July 31 (1:00pm~5:00pm) – Yodobashi Camera Shinjuku West Exit Head Office Game/Hobby Building
- August 6 (11:00am~5:30pm) – Bic Camera Yurakucho
