When PlayStation VR launches in Japan on October 13, gamers in the country have the option to pick up Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live as one of the launch titles. For fans all over the globe who have come to love the character, there is some hope the game may become available in the West.
Sega has submitted Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live to the Australian ratings board, which was posted as of July 21.
Unlike Hatsune Miku’s Project Diva games, Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live puts players in the audience of a virtual Vocaloid concert using the PlayStation VR headset. The PlayStation VR exclusive title will let players see an interactive stage performance that wouldn’t be possible in reality.
For now, fans in North America can get excited about the PlayStation VR compatible features coming to Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X as an add-on after launch. Sega confirmed the Concert Editor’s Live View mode in Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X will receive a free update that adds PlayStation VR support.
Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live is confirmed for release in Japan on October 13, 2016.
