With Etrian Odyssey V’s release around the corner in Japan, Atlus shared details in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine about some of the first batch of DLCs for the game, which brings a variety of customization options and more.
Below is a list of the first batch of DLC we’ll see in Etrian Odyssey V:
August 4: Additional appearances for 300 yen each

A quest called “Adventurer Training Plan” will be available as a 300-yen DLC. It allows you to accept the Adventurer Training Plan quest at the tavern, which allows you to get plenty of experience points along with an accessory that can triple your experience points gained.
The other quest is called the “Adventurer Better Luck Plan” which will also be available as a 300-yen DLC. This is similar to the Training Plan, but instead of exp it gives you currency (en) along with an accessory that makes drops that don’t require any conditions go up to 100%.
And finally, an FM Synthesis sound addition will be available at a later date for 800 yen. You can check it out a bit in the above video featuring the FM version of the first battle theme. This will allow you to switch to FM and back at any time.
Etrian Odyssey V will release in Japan on August 4, 2016 for Nintendo 3DS. A demo that will let you carry over data to the full release of the game will be available on July 20.
