The newest The King of Fighters XIV trailer is here, and once again Atlus and SNK Playmore are showing off three characters new to the series. Team South America consists of Bandeiras Hattori, Zarina, and Nelson. All three characters hail from South America, as you can probably guess from the team’s name.

Here’s some information about Team South America’s members.

  • Bandeiras Hattori: Bandeiras is a Brazilian ninjutsu user who considers himself a ninja. He’s hoping to make his dojo more famous by competing in the tournament. He was first revealed in a trailer with Mai Shiranui, in which he expressed admiration for her and her skills, asking her to become his teacher.

  • Nelson: Nelson is a boxer. After an accident, one of his arms had to be replaced with a cybernetic prosthetic. He’s competing in the tournament to raise money for someone he loves.

  • Zarina: Zarina is a Capoeira user with a pet toucan named Coco. She’s competing in the tournament to raise money for environmental awareness and protection projects.
