Atlus and SNK Playmore have released another The King of Fighters XIV trailer introducing more characters. This time, the footage is focused on Team Villains, which is made up of Chang Koehan, Choi Bounge, and the new competitor Xanadu.

Here are some details about the Villains team.

  • Chang Koehan: Chang made his debut in The King of Fighters ‘94. He’s a big man who knows how to throw his weight around. Really, he carries a a steel ball on a chain and uses it in his attacks. He was once caught by Kim Kaphwan after escaping prison and placed in Kim’s “rehabilitation project.” This time, he’s out from under the justice-loving man’s influence and working with teammates who share his criminal mindset.

  • Choi Bounge: Choi has also been part of the series since The King of Fighters ‘94 and uses claws in his attacks. He would attack people at night, until one evening he attacked Kim Kaphwan, was beaten, and then forced into a “rehabilitation project.” Said project didn’t work, and now he’s fighting alongside his fellow villains. He’s also known for having a costume that resembles Freddy Krueger’s.

  • Xanadu: Xanadu is new to KOF and is described as a lunatic. The official press release says, “Oh boy, watch out for that man, because he has a move where he literally cradles opponents, Rock-a-bye Baby style, just before snapping their spines.”

Our past The King of Fighters XIV reports include information on Team Japan, Team Yagami, Team Fatal Fury, Team Art of Fighting, and Team Kim.

The King of Fighters XIV will come to the PlayStation 4 in North and South America on August 23, 2016, followed by an August 25, 2016 release in Japan.
