Pokémon Sun & Moon Introduces The Rock-Type Puppy “Iwanko” And The Half-Awake “Nekkoala”

New information on Pokémon Sun & Moon revealed in the latest issue of CoroCoro. The first non-start Pokémon introduced to us are “Nokkoala” the Half-Awake Pokémon, and Iwanko, the Rock-type puppy. [Thanks, Serebii.]

Starting with Nekkoala, the “Half-Awake” Normal-type Pokémon with the Definite Sleep ability that prevents it from being afflicted with a status other than sleep. The magazine also hints that the three new starters in Rowlet, Litten, Popplio all share a secret with Iwanko.

The cute pup Iwanko is a Rock-type Pokémon with Keen Eye or Vital Spirit abilities.

The above images for the new movie shows the Greninja that fans will get after it was declared the most popular Pokémon in the recent Pokémon Election. The Greninja will have the Protean ability, along with Hydro Cannon, Gunk Shot, Mat Block, and Happy Hour for moves.

 

Attendees at the movie will also receive a Pokémon Ga-Olé disc with a QR Code to get Magearna for Pokémon Sun & Moon. This Magearna has the Soul Heart ability, along with a new move called “Fleur Cannon” along with others moves in Flash Cannon, Lucky Chant, and Helping Hand at level 50.

 

Pokémon Sun & Moon will release for Nintendo 3DS in Japan and North America on November 18, and in Europe on November 23, 2016.
