Mighty No. 9’s Masterclass Trailer Dashes Onto The Internet

Earlier today, Inti Creates announced a May 27, 2016 Mighty No. 9 broadcast. People don’t have to wait until Friday for new footage. Deep Silver has released a new Mighty No. 9 trailer. The “Masterclass” video goes over some of the abilities Beck can use in the game.

The Mighty No. 9 video goes through abilities in order. First, it looks at the Dash move. There are multiple variations of the move for different situations. In order, we get to see the short, long, jump, spiral, and slide Dashes Beck can use. From there, it focuses on the combo system, showing how you can chain shooting and Dash attacks to create custom combos.

The trailer wraps up with a look at Absorption Boosts. When attacking a generic enemy, it may start flashing. Beck can Dash into it to absorb some of its power, boosting his own abilities. Think of it as a less exciting version of ability absorption that comes from attacking the Mighty Robots. You don’t get new powers, but he does end up temporarily stronger.

Mighty No. 9 will come to the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Nintendo Wii U, and PC on June 21, 2016 in North America. It’ll arrive in Europe on June 24, 2016. The Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita versions don’t have a release date yet.
