Compile Heart revealed their upcoming dungeon crawler RPG Godly Prison Tower: Mary Skelter for PlayStation Vita last month, and they’ve provided additional details on the game’s characters and story on the official website.

Here’s the start:

Several decades ago, a city suddenly caved in and gave birth to the Jail that is run by eerie monsters named “Marchen.”

A young boy named Jack has been living as an inmate and has forgotten about when it all started, along with his dreams and hope, and peace of mind. Robbed of all humanity, they suffered through torture day and night, and were basically just allowed to live.

However, one day in this place that is shut out from all light, an organization that goes by “Blood-Type Girl Corps” saves Jack from the prison. This would be the fated beginning for the plan to escape together with the Blood-Type Girl Corps from the Jail.

In order to take back everything that was taken from them, Jack and the Blood-Type Girl Corps will take the decisive action of jail-breaking the impregnable Jail.

Jack is the protagonist of the game, and has been spending time as a prisoner of Jail. He’s a timid guy but he’s mentally strong, and won’t hesitate to sacrifice his own life if it means protecting his friends.

He gets taken in by Akazukin (Little Red Riding Hood), who was out looking to save Alice,as they escape the Jail. Seeing how the girls of the Blood-Type Girl Corps would fight even while injured, he hopes to be able to help them out as their support. He later finds out that he, too, possesses blood-type abilities as a “Blood-Type Boy.”

Alice (CV: Sumire Uesaka):

A girl who grew up together with Jack since they were kids. She and Jack both got captured by the Marchen and have been living as prisoners since then.

After being saved by Akazukin, she finds out that she’s a “Blood-Type Girl,” and uses those powers to escape from Jail. She’s usually able to judge things in a calm and cool manner, but lets her feelings get the best of her when it comes to Jack.

Sometimes daring, other times crude and careless, Akazukin is a hot-blooded girl who charges into the Jail. She likes Jack as he’s “one with guts,” and also enjoys having someone to lead around.

They say that she’s also the first “Blood-Type Girl” to be discovered, and while she can be rough at times, she takes on an older-sister role for the other girls. However, her hot-bloodedness can occasionally cause some panic.
