Bandai Namco released the latest trailer for their upcoming PlayStation Vita RPG, Digimon World: Next Order, giving us a good overview of the game’s main features.
The trailer starts out with a look at the main characters and an introduction to Digimon and how you can train and take care of them. That means you’ll also need to feed and discipline when needed. You’ll also need to help them when they need to use the restroom.
Next they show more battle features at the 1:55 mark. The Digimon do most of the fighting and will work together as pairs. As for your role, you’ll get to support them through the “Order System,” used to give strategic commands and Order Points to have them go in High Tension mode or use special attacks.
The Extra Cross System, or “ExE” is a new feature that uses the power of bond between partner Digimon, for a miraculous evolution. As a “Tamer,” it’ll be your duty to work on the bond between Digimon in order to have the best possible partners.
At 3:25, they show a bit of the parts outside of battle, where you’ll have other activities to do such as camping, fishing, or gathering ingredients for making food. You’ll also get to upgrade the town with resources, increasing its number of stores and facilities.
Digimon World: Next Order will release in Japan on March 17, 2016 for PlayStation Vita.
