<< How to read and understand sales

Last week was slow on new releases, so Fire Emblem Fates occupied the top spot in the software sales chart once more. The game sold another 54,896 copies in its second week, bringing total sales of the regular version to 315,571. (Keep in mind that the limited edition has sold around 43,000 copies as well.)

At #2 was Rhythm Heaven The Best+, which is now at just over 300,000 copies sold. Following it at #3 was Splatoon, which is still holding up fairly well, and is at 382,175 sold. Finally, another recent release, Persona 4: Dancing All Night, occupied the #4 spot, and is now at 107,064 sold.

Next Wednesday’s sales column should be more interesting as this week will see the release of The Great Ace Attorney and Yo-kai Watch Busters in Japan.
