PoPoLoCrois Farm Story’s protagonist Prince Pietro is a gentle soul who likes to help others, but he’ll need to step it up and fight monsters when necessary. The game’s official website shares the latest information concerning the game’s battle system and quests.

The battle system in PoPoLoCrois Farm Story is a simple turn-based system, which lets you move and attack across the indicated parts on the grid. You can attack monsters, heal allies, and more. Attacking monsters from behind will do more damage than usual.

 

Again, You can change between manual and automatic controls in the middle of battle, so depending on how strong the monsters are, you can play according to your preference.

The characters will fight using Special Abilities in battle. These range from attacks to monsters, heals for allies, and supportive effects. The characters learn more Special Abilities as they level up.

 

In Prince Pietro’s journey, he’ll meet various people, and they’ll sometimes need help. These are basically the quests of the game, and it’s how you’ll get all kinds of items upon completion. Here’s a look at a few quests that revolve around fighting monsters.

An old man has a job of collecting shells in a forest, but a Lizardman stole them, so you’ll need to get them back for him.

There has been Oilpot monsters appearing at the Urvan mountain, and they’ve been spilling oil on the route, making it dangerous for travel. You’ll need to defeat them in order to make the route safe again.

 

PoPoLoCrois Farm Story will release in Japan on June 18, 2015 for Nintendo 3DS.
