Bandai Namco previously announced a few details on their upcoming major update for Sword Art Online: Lost Song that is scheduled for next month. This week’s issue of Dengeki PlayStation shares additional info on the update. [Thanks, Hachima]

The update will add two new playable characters. One is Lux from the Sword Art Online: Girls Ops manga, and the other is Seven who was previously a key character in the story but not playable. The report indicates that he uses a bow as his weapon.

The update will also add PvP fights and duel events, which will come in multiplayer and single player modes. There will also be new sub-scenarios, including one that’s about Seven and Rain, along with new CG for events.

There will also be new giant bosses that are said to be more than ten times larger than regular characters. Additionally, the update will also add a “New Game” mode, Gallery Mode, the possibility to change gear in the field, UI adjustments, and more.
