Masaya Games revealed the official title for the upcoming Langrisser title for the Nintendo 3DS, along with some details on its release and what will be included in its limited edition version when the game releases this July in Japan.

According to the Rakuten preorder page, the game is officially titled as Langrisser Re: Incarnation, which is a fitting name for the game with a new look and title we’ve seen from the series in the past 15 years.

The limited edition “Legend Box” for the game includes a set of two petit-figures for Rosalia and Licorice. It also comes with a two-disc original soundtrack album featuring picture labels with cahracters drawn by Satoshi Urushihara, known for having done the artwork for the series in the past.

Additionally, the Legend Box contains a 64-page documents collection, featuring details on various characters, world setting, and unpublished illustrations from the series designers with more from Satoshi Urushihara and by the new designer Hiroshi Kaieda.

While we still don’t know too much about the game’s story, it takes place in a slightly more futuristic world with some steampunk elements in a world where war breaks out between the three powers of the Brightness, the Imperial, and the Darkness. You can read more about it in our earlier report.

Langrisser Re: Incarnation will release in Japan sometime this July for Nintendo 3DS.
