Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson, a sequel to Senran Kagura Burst, is coming to North America and Europe, Xseed Games and Marvelous announced today.

Senran Kagura 2 is developed by Marvelous and Tamsoft (who also work on Onechanbara—another game Xseed is localizing). It will include all 12 of the characters from the first Senran Kagura game along with a couple of new characters. New to the game is a co-op feature, allowing two players to play together either locally or over the Internet.

Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson will be released this Summer in North America by Xseed and Marvelous will publish the game in Europe. In North America, the game will be released via the Nintendo eShop, but will also see a limited run “Double D” retail release with a two-disc soundtrack.

Meanwhile, in Europe, Marvelous will publish the game via the eShop and will allow those that prefer a physical copy to pre-order one. More information on the different physical packages for the game in Europe can be found here.
