5pb. announced that they’re releasing a two-in-one package for the popular romance visual novel series Lovely x Cation for PlayStation Vita. This week’s issue of Famitsu magazine provides more details. [Thanks, Game Jouhou]
Similar to other PC romance titles that have been ported to the PlayStation Vita, Lovely x Cation 1 & 2 will omit the original games’ adult content, but will make up for it with the vast amount of additional scenarios and major events that will be added to the Vita version.
Lovely x Cation 1 & 2 will have a special feature where you can pick a nickname from a prepared list of names, and the heroines will call you by it as part of the “lovely call” function to give it more of a personal touch. There’s also a “hobby tuning” system that will let you further deepen your bond with the girls according to the choices you make, and an AR camera mode where you can take a picture together with one of the heroines.
Lastly, there’s a new QR code feature that shows up during events, where you’ll get to download the “lovely shot” to save as a wallpaper. There’s also a new “walking talk” system that lets you go on walks with your virtual lover to get even closer and learn more about them.
Lovely x Cation 1 & 2 will release in Japan in May 21, 2015 for PlayStation Vita.
