The Senran Kagura series is known for its costume break features, and things are about to get skimpier, as Senran Kagura: Estival Versus introduces a new costume break system. This week’s issue of Famitsu magazine provides more details. [Thanks, Game Jouhou.]
According to the magazine report, a “revolutionary” new costume break feature called “PuruPuru Finish” [purupuru is a sound effect word for shaking] will make its debut in Senran Kagura: Estival Versus.
Instead of having icons that hide certain parts of the body after a costume break, the PuruPuru Finish will instead have a mysterious ray of light that barely covers them instead. The catch is that certain conditions will need to be met in order to activate it.
Some examples of these conditions include slipping on soap and falling down, getting caught on cherry blossoms, and other humorous situations that will bring out the censoring rays of light.
Again, Senran Kagura: Estival Versus will bring back various costumes from past titles, and will also add new summer costumes. Photography sessions will support up to five characters, and you’ll get to choose their costumes and poses as well. Marvelous say they’ve added all kinds of actions for the photography feature.
Senran Kagura: Estival Versus is slated for release in Japan on March 26, 2015 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
