Cross Ange recently got a new anime series back in October, and it’s also getting an action shooter title by Freedom Wars co-developers Shade. This week’s issue of Famitsu Magazine shares more details. [Thanks, Game Jouhou.]

Cross Ange: Rondo of Angels and Dragons tr. for PlayStation Vita will feature an original female protagonist called Naomi, and will focus on a brand new story. The game is split between the heroine’s everyday lives with the drama part, a customization part that lets you tweak your Para-mail, and an action part where you’ll control the Para-mail to fight dragons.

In the drama part of the game, you’ll deepen your bonds with the other heroines in their everyday lives, and once you get closer to them, they’ll help out with support in combat.

The battle part will let you switch forms between flight and destroyer. There will also be types that specialize in speed, shooting, and proximity attack.

Cross Ange: Rondo of Angels and Dragons tr. will release sometime this spring in Japan for PlayStation Vita.
