Etrian Mystery Dungeon has the best of both dungeon crawler and roguelike worlds, with a nice mash-up between the two series. The game’s latest trailer shows us more of what we can expect from the upcoming 3DS title.

The trailer starts out with a brief introduction of the game, and the setting of Aslaga. We then get a look at the classes for the game, including the recently introduced Furai, which looks like an homage class to Shiren the Wanderer.

Next, they show off a little more on the dungeon exploration parts, as they explain how the dungeons will always change on each run, as placements of items, treasures, and traps will always be different, kind of what you’d expect from a roguelike game.

The following part gives us another look at the town of Aslaga and some helpful characters, like Magan, who you’ll go to receive missions and report to after you’ve completed them. There’s also a place to eat meals that will provide you with buffs as well.

The video also gives us a look at the new D.O.E monsters, and it seems like we’re going to have to fight them off in order to protect the town. More details on the fights will likely be revealed soon.

Etrian Mystery Dungeon will release in North America in Spring 2015 for the Nintendo 3DS.
