The Machine Empire Naga’s city has everything made of machinery. In order to support the massive collection of machinery, it needs something called “Gravity Energy” to keep on going.

After a thousand years, the land that gave birth to Rodea commences its invasion. The imperial princess Cecilia, daughter of the Garuda emperor, entrusts her thoughts to Rodea before vanishing.

Rodea’s memories have been lost, and the whereabouts of the young lady he faintly remembers, still remain unknown.

Garuda is a floating continent that is full of nature, and made of many floating islands. It is here, where the mecha-crazed young girl named Ion finds Rodea at the ruins, repairs him, and gets him back on his feet.

Rodea:

Rodea is a humanoid robot with the ability to fly. He was once an exclusive guard of Cecilia’s, but after attempting to defect with her to Garuda, things didn’t go as planned. He was evacuated to a different location, but the next time he opened his eyes, he found himself in a world of 1,000 years later.

After being found and repaired by a young girl named Ion, he gets up, once again, to take on the Machine Empire.

Ion:

007

According to the old traditions, machines were once feared as “demons,” and have always been detested by the townsfolk; however, of all the people, there was this one girl who brimmed with curiosity in machines.

The girl, known as Ion, also shares a striking resemblance to that of a girl left behind in Rodea’s memories. She finds a sleeping Rodea in the ruins, and repairs him. Together with her new friend, they travel to stand up against the Machine Empire.

Cecilia:

008

The imperial princess of the Machine Empire Naga. As an attempt to stop her father, Emperor Geared, who had plans of invasion. It was then, that Cecila decided to defect with Rodea but things didn’t work out as planned.

In the end, she let Rodea escape on his own, and she was never seen again. She has a beautiful heart to match her looks.

Rodea the Sky Soldier is slated for release in Spring 2015 in Japan for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
