Spanish retailer Xtralife has put up a listing for Soul Sacrifice Delta on PlayStation Vita. The game has been added to the retailer’s website with a May 19th release date attached to it.
Normally, we wouldn’t direct attention to a retail listing unless we had a separate source of our own that could confirm its accuracy, but Xtralife is the same retailer that put up a listing for a PlayStation 4 version of The Last of Us, days before it a PlayStation rep let slip that it was coming, both at retail and via PlayStation Network.
Of course, Sony then provided an official statement to the press, stating that they had, at no time announced a PS4 release for the game. As of now, it still remains unconfirmed as to whether The Last of Us will be released for PlayStation 4 or not.
A European release of Soul Sacrifice Delta, however, is much easier to swallow. The only odd part of the equation is that May 19th date. If the game is being released less than two months from now, how come we heard a squeak out of Sony about it yet?
We’ve gotten in touch with Sony for comment and will update when we hear back.
A big thanks to Siliconera reader Ryan for the tip!
