Fire Emblem developer Intelligent Systems have a brand new headquarters, the studio reported on its official website (thanks, Nintendo Online). The new headquarters gives Intelligent Systems a separate building to themselves.

Prior to this new headquarters, Intelligent Systems shared their headquarters with Nintendo’s Software Planning & Development division at the Kyoto Research Institute building. Intelligent Systems currently consists of 130 employees, with 100 males and 30 females. The vast majority of the studio consists of programmers and artists.

In recent years, Intelligent Systems have worked on Fire Emblem: Awakening, Paper Mario: Sticker Star, Game & Wario, Pushmo, Crashmo, and Daigasso! Band Bros. P. Additionally, the studio also helped develop the Nintendo 3DS Camera app.

Intelligent Systems president and representative director Toshiyuki Nakamura writes:

Greetings, from the new company building.

I’d like to start by expressing my best wishes for your health, prosperity and joy.

Now, I’d like to let you know that our new company building has been safely completed. And I’d also like to thank you all for your warm gift of support from the bottom of my heart.

On behalf of the employees in this new world, we’re determined to work vigorously towards the aim of creating games our customers can enjoy.

Again, we thank you in advance for your continued support and patronage.

President and representative director,

Toshiyuki Nakamura
