Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate’s Marie Rose Will Likely See A Western Release

Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate has a new playable character in Japan by the name of Marie Rose. A gothic lolita that uses a Russian military style of combat (don’t ask), Marie will first be released in arcades, and will then make the transition over to consoles.

All of these plans are for Japan, but Tecmo Koei say that western fans can look forward to news on Marie Rose at some point in the future as well. On the Dead or Alive Facebook page, the publisher stated:

Fighters! We see that you’ve discovered our newest character, Marie Rose for the upcoming Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate Arcade. Although this game is a JP exclusive title, we haven’t forgotten about our overseas fighters in the West. We hope to provide you guys with more information in the near future. But in the meantime, we appreciate your continued support for DOA5 Ultimate. Thanks fighters!

Marie Rose will be available in the updated arcade version of Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate in Japan this fall. Tecmo Koei have not said when the character will be made available for consoles.
