Major Japanese telecom NTT DoCoMo (a company big enough to get a DS game about it’s mascot) is partnering with Square Enix to make a Dragon Quest branded smartphone. The SH-01F Dragon Quest model comes in one color, Metal Slime, and it’s limited to just 30,000 units.
The Dragon Quest smartphone is manufactured by Sharp and runs Android 4.2 with a Snapdragon 2.2 GHz quad core processor. The 5 inch display is full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) with a TFT LCD screen. The outer camera is 15.9 megapixels and the inner camera is 2.1 megapixels. It also supports NFC and has a 3,000 mAH battery. Oh, and it has Dragon Quest VII: Journey of the Cursed King preinstalled. The phone will be available in early December.
